Product information

What to know before you choose

An abstract neural synapse with tea leaves, mineral crystals and ashwagandha root

Formula overview

A calm-routine formula with clearly stated limits

One capsule combines GABA, L-theanine, 60 mg elemental magnesium from magnesium glycinate, ashwagandha extract and vitamin C. The formula is designed for an evening routine, but it should not be described as a sedative or a treatment for a sleep disorder.

Primary ingredient

200 mg GABA

An amino acid and neurotransmitter; oral-supplement evidence remains limited.

Tea amino acid

100 mg L-theanine

Studied for relaxation and subjective sleep outcomes at varying doses.

Mineral support

60 mg magnesium

Magnesium contributes to normal nerve and muscle function.

Evidence, in context

What research supports—and where the limits are

Limited evidence

Oral GABA and sleep

A systematic review of placebo-controlled human trials found limited evidence for stress outcomes and very limited evidence for sleep benefits. Results were mixed and do not establish a treatment effect.

Promising, dose-dependent context

L-theanine research

A 2025 meta-analysis reported small improvements in several subjective sleep measures. Trials varied widely, and many studied doses differ from the 100 mg supplied here.

Established nutrient role

Magnesium physiology

Magnesium is required for normal nerve and muscle function. NIH notes that clinical-trial evidence for using magnesium specifically to improve sleep remains inconsistent.
