Curcugen®: more than a curcuminoid percentage
Curcugen® is a turmeric-oleoresin ingredient combining curcuminoids with native turmeric constituents. The supplied DolCas specification, CQN-98-CG revision 03, identifies Curcuma longa rhizome from India and specifies at least 50% total curcuminoids and 1.5% essential oils. These are raw-material specifications, not percentages for the whole BubbForest capsule.
The documented approach emphasizes dispersion and the turmeric matrix. The word “liposomal” on a supplied product label should not be taken to establish a conventional phospholipid-bilayer liposome; the technical literature describes an oleoresin-based formulation.
A specific patent, with a named owner
The supplied patent is US 12,208,129 B2, granted 28 January 2025, titled Process for preparing an herbal extract and compositions thereof. The listed assignee is Olene Life Sciences Private Limited. It concerns extract preparation and compositions, not ownership of a BubbForest inositol formula or a clinical certification. Curcugen® is a registered trademark of DolCas Biotech, LLC.
RESEARCH IN CONTEXT

Digestive research, 2021: Lopresti and colleagues randomized 79 adults with self-reported digestive complaints to 500 mg Curcugen daily or placebo for eight weeks. Self-report data from 77 participants showed improvements in gastrointestinal symptom and anxiety scores, but no significant effect on the reported intestinal microbiota or SIBO measures. This does not establish a treatment claim for the BubbForest combined formula.
Absorption research, 2021: Panda and colleagues compared a single dose of the dispersible oleoresin formulation with a standard 95% curcuminoid extract. Pharmacokinetic exposure is not the same as clinical benefit; published absorption multiples are not “times more effective” claims for BubbForest.
Preclinical safety, 2022: Nirvanashetty and colleagues reported laboratory and animal safety testing. This is preclinical evidence, not a human trial of BubbForest capsules.
The current 120-capsule product page describes 64 mg turmeric extract per four-capsule serving. This differs from the 500 mg daily ingredient dose in the digestive study. Do not increase a product dose to reproduce a research protocol.
FORMULA LOGIC
A connected formula, not a collection of badges
The inositol formula brings together myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol, turmeric extract, black pepper extract, folate and chromium. Each ingredient has a different nutritional or formulation role. The ingredient name, chemical form and amount on the current label are the starting point.
- Folate: the supplied US 7,947,662 B2 document names Gnosis S.p.A. and concerns folate compositions. It is not an inositol patent owned by BubbForest.
- Black pepper: BioPerine® technical and trademark materials belong to their rights holders. A licensing form is not evidence that a finished product was clinically tested.
- Chromium: Chromax® research and supplier quality documents concern that ingredient or its supplier. They do not substantiate all effects of the combined capsule.
